‘The temptation proved too strong, the itch too pressing…I decided to take the plunge’ Flashback to October 2019 when the calling to join the unfolding uprising from my second home was hard to resist. The uprising scale, breadth and unifying themes turned out to indeed be unprecedented and captivated an entire nation. I made it a purpose to participate in every gathering I could locate to photograph, for posterity, this unique episode in the country’s history.
